PR Azadi Train Schedule August 2017

The Azadi Train is prepared by the Pakistan Railways to mark the 70th Independence Day of Pakistan.The Azadi train consists of five art galleries, illustrated with pictures of people who sacrificed their lives during the independence movement, while six floats are also part of the train. Sacrifices of Pakistan Armed Forces and Indian aggression in Indian-held Kashmir (IHK) have also been displayed at the picture galleries.The floats highlight culture of Punjab, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir.

Azadi Train schedule August 2017:

The train will leave Islamabad at 12:30pm for its journey on 12^th August 2017 and reach Peshawar at 4:30pm on the same day. It will restart its journey at 10:30am on the next day from Peshawar and arrive at Rawalpindi at 7:15PM, where it will stay for two nights.The train will again set off at 9:15 AM on 15th August for the next destination of Lahore where it will reach at 10 pm.

It will stay at Lahore station for two nights and leave for Multan at 9am on August 17. It will arrive at Multan at 11:30pm and after one night stay, start its journey at 9am and reach Khanpur at 7:19pm on the same day. The Azadi Train will stop at Khanpur for one night and on August 19 at 8:30am, it will depart Khanpur for Sukkur, where it will reach at 8pm.

After one night stay at Sukkur, the train will leave 9:30am on August 20 and it will break its journey at Sibbi at 7pm to stay for the night. The train will leave Sibbi at 7am on August 21 for its next destination of Quetta and it reach there at 5pm. The train will stay there for two nights and start its journey back to Sukkur at 7am on 23rd August 2017.

It will reach Sukkur at 7:30pm and stay for another night and on August 24, it will for Nawabshah at 8am. It will reach Nawabshah at 7pm and then reach Hyderabad via Tando Adam. The train will stay at Hyderabad for one night and leave for Karachi Cantt via Kotri.

The train will conclude its journey at Karachi at 6pm on 25th Aug 2017. Pakistan Railways police will provide special security to the train with the help of local police.

Virtual University Admission Fall 2017

Virtual University of Pakistan offers admission twice in an academic year namely spring in the month of January/February and fall in the month of August/September each year.

ABL LAUNCHES ALLIED EZCASH PREPAID CARD

Allied Bank always believe in introducing new and customer friendly products which help to facilitate diversified customer segments.

The Bank launches its first as well as industry’s first PayPak (Domestic Payment Scheme) Prepaid Card which is instantly issued from all ABL branches. While this product is designed primarily to target the un-banked / walk-in customers, bank’s existing customers/Accountholders can also avail this new product to manage and secure cash-in-hand.

Allied EZCash is a re-loadable Prepaid Card which comes with the convenience of easy load/reload/top-up from any ABL branch. This card is instantly issued from all ABL branches and can be used on ATM for cash withdrawal, bill payment, mobile top-ups and purchasing goods from merchants at Point of Sale (POS) machines where PayPak Cards are accepted. Allied EZCash offers greater security with PIN for Point-of-Sale (POS) Transactions as well i.e. use of Prepaid Card for shopping requires cardholders to enter PIN to authorize their purchase transactions.

While Allied EZCash Prepaid Card is designed primarily to target the un-banked/walk-in customers, ABL’s existing customers/Accountholders can also avail this new product to manage and secure cash-in-hand.

Eligibility Criteria for Prepaid Card Issuance

Individuals/ persons having valid CNIC/SNIC/NICOP who fulfill the application requirements and upon successful verification through NADRA’s system can obtain Allied EZCash Prepaid Card from any ABL branch.

Maximum Aggregate Loadable Amount/Credit

The total amount that can be loaded in a Prepaid Card in a calendar year either in one instance or multiple, including any balance amount carried over from the preceding year, should not exceed the allowed maximum limit as given below:

PKR 500,000 for customers verified biometrically.
PKR 100,000 for customers verified through NADRA Verisys/ Vernic (in case of failure of biometric verification).

Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Multan has announced today ninth class result on 19th August 2017.

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Multan was established on 30 March 1968. It is located near Gol Bagh, Gulgasht Colony, Multan.

UHS Entry Test 2017

The Medical and Dental Colleges’ Admission Test (MDCAT-2017) of the Punjab has conducted by the University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore on Sunday 20th August 2017, simultaneously at the following centers in 13 cities of the Province. The test shall start at 09:00 A.M.

The candidates have already been issued Roll Numbers. Roll Number wise distribution of candidates at each centre is being advertised for the convenience of candidates.

All the candidates must reach their respective centres at-least one hour before the commencement of the test on 20th August, 2017. The centres shall be sealed/closed at 08:15 AM, and nobody shall be allowed to enter the test centre after that. All candidates are advised to identify exact location of their centres a day earlier.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES:

Each candidate has to submit the application on the prescribed form. Separate application form is required for each category.
The application should be duly filled in by the candidate in his/her own handwriting in block letters with BLACK INK or BALLPOINT. Fill all the columns and write “Not Applicable” if column is irrelevant.
O/A level candidate should mention equivalent Marks Obtained and Maximum Marks in the Admission Form awarded by the Inter Boards Committee, Islamabad.
If a candidate is admitted on the basis of statements made in the above application and subsequently it is found that any of the statements was false, the candidate shall not be admitted and if admitted, he/she will be expelled from the University and all fee and other dues paid by him/her to the University upto that time shall be forfeited. The student and his/her father/guardian would also be liable to any further departmental or legal action that the University may deem fit to take.
The University Administration has the right to fine, suspend, rusticate, relegate or terminate the studentship of the student who found guilty of:
i. Saying or doing anything which might adversely affect the honour and prestige of Pakistan, or University and teachers and his/her educational institution;
ii. Willfully and deliberately damage or misuse the University property;
iii. Non possession of Student Identity Card in the vicinity of the University;
iv. Providing fake documentary proof for Medical Certificate, Fee Concession, ID card etc.;
v. Failing to submit the Fee/Dues within the stipulated time frame;
vi. Smoking in the Classroom, Laboratory, Workshop, Library and Examination Hall;
vii. Forming or associating with, an Organization/Society/Club, or any other body, promoting caste distinctions and inciting parochial/linguistic/regional feeling;
viii. Organizing or holding any function within the precincts of the University except in accordance with the prescribed Rules and Regulations;
ix. Collecting money or receiving donations or pecuniary assistance for or on behalf of the University or any University Organization except with written permission of the Competent Authority;
x. Staging inciting or participating in, a walkout, strike or any other form of agitation which
might create or is likely to create law and order problem for the University and affect or is likely to affect its smooth functioning;
xi. Indulging in immoral activities, using indecent language, making indecent remarks, jokes or gestures or behaving in an improper manner;
xii. Keeping or carrying weapons, narcotics, immoral or subversive literature; and
xiii. Using insulting or abusive language or resort to violence against a fellow student or employee of the University.
xiv. Wearing immodest dress.

Eid-ul-Azha in Pakistan will celebarate on Friday 1st September or 2nd Saturday September 2017.

Eid ul adha holiday 2017:

The federal government will announce a three-day holiday on account of Eid ul Azha. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has declared a 16-day holiday for the festival of Eid Al Adha in this year.The holiday period for the government sector will begin on the end of Thursday, Dhu Al Hijjah 2, 1438. Work will resume on Dhu Al Hijjah 19, 1438.
