For BS and M.Sc Pre- Admission Entry Test Registration, please visit https://entrytest.pucit.edu.pk. Online Registration of Entrance Test will commence from 9th July, 2018. Last date for BS and M.Sc Registration is 23rd July, 2018.

PUCIT Online Entrance Test Registration Form
Applying through PUCIT Online Entrance Test System You are advised to read and follow all the instructions given below before proceeding to Registration Form
From the menu on the left side, click on Registration Form and fill it by providing all the required information correctly.
Upload your recent 1.5 x 1.5 size picture in jpeg/jpg/png format. File size should not be more than 1 MB. Your FACE should be clearly visible in the uploaded picture. Irrelevant uploading will lead to cancellation of your candidature.
Carefully enter your up-to-date particulars. Make sure that there are NO spelling mistakes.
There are two buttons at the bottom of the Registration Form namely SAVE and FINALIZE.
After providing all the required information, click on the SAVE button to save your information. Once saved, you can still update your provided information.
Click on the FINALIZE button only when you are ready to submit the application. Once the application form is finalized, you will NOT be able to edit your information.
After finalizing your Registration Form, you may print the application form for your personal record by clicking on Print Application from the left menu.
Once the Registration Form has been finalized, click on Challan Form from the left menu. Click on DOWNLOAD CHALLAN FORM button to download the challan form in PDF format. Once downloaded, take its print and deposit the challan form along with Entrance Test Fee in your nearest HBL Branch. Keep the depositor’s copy of your challan form for your personal record.
Your Roll Number Slip will be visible three working days after the submission of Entrance Test Fee. You can view your roll number slip by clicking on Roll Number Slip from the left menu. Click on DOWNLOAD ROLL NUMBER SLIP button to download your roll number slip in PDF format. If you do not see your roll number slip after three working days of fee submission, please visit PUCIT Admission Office (University of the Punjab, Old Campus, Shahrah-e-Quaid-e-Azam, The Mall, Lahore)along with:
The original depositor’s copy of your challan form.
A print of your application form.
The deadline for Entrance Test registration and fee deposit is July 23rd, 2018. Applicants are strictly advised to follow this deadline. Applicants missing deadline will not be entertained. There will be no exceptions entertained at all.
The entrance test registration fee is neither refundable nor transferable.

Entry Test Guidelines
Candidate MUST bring entry test slip and original CNIC with them in the Test Centre. In case the candidate does not have his/her CNIC, he/she is required to bring his/her original secondary school certificate, Original Passport or Driving license to enter the examination hall. No candidate will be allowed to enter the Test Centre without these documents.
B-Form or College/School ID card are not acceptable.
Hand bags, mobile phones, calculators etc. are NOT ALLOWED in the Examination Centre.
Paper Pattern and Type of Questions for BS and M.Sc Entrance Test:
Number of Questions: 35
Time Allowed: 1 Hour
Types of Questions: Quantitative and Analytical Reasoning
Paper Pattern and Type of Questions for MPhil & Phd (CS):
1. There will be 60 MCQs that have to be solved in 90 minutes.
2. 60% of the test will be from three core areas of computer science: Theory of Automata, Data Structures, and Analysis of Algorithms.
3. The Remaining 40% of the test will comprise of quantitative/analytical questions (analytical reasoning; pattern recognition; ratios, percentages, proportions; basic probability and counting).
4. Passing marks are 50% for the MPhil Program and 70% for the PhD Program.
Paper Pattern and Type of Questions for MPhil (RS & GIS):
1. There will be 60 MCQs that have to be solved in 90 minutes.
2. 60% of the test will be from the following areas of RS & GIS: Introduction to GIS, Remote Sensing & Digital Image Processing, Spatial Analysis, Databases, GIS Programming (Object Oriented).
3. The Remaining 40% of the test will comprise of quantitative/analytical questions (analytical reasoning; pattern recognition; ratios, percentages, proportions; basic probability and counting).Passing marks are 50%.
Grading Policy: You will receive 4 mark for a correct answer, 0 mark for a wrong answer, and 1 mark for an unanswered question.
