Youm e Shahadat of Syedna Hazrat Umar Farooq (Radi Allah Unho)
First Muharram is the Youm e Shahadat of Ameer-ul-Momineen Syedna Hazrat Umar Farooq (Radi Allah Unho).
Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.W) said: ‘If someone could be a prophet after me, he would be Umer bin Khitab’

Islamic New Year 1436 A.H is start today on Sunday 26th October 2014.
The first month Muharram, is a month of great reward and virtue. Muharram itself means ‘sacred’ and is from those months which have been mentioned as sacred in the Holy Qur’an.
Almighty ALLAH states in the Holy Qur’an:
“Four of them {Zil-Qadah (11th), Zil-Hijjah (12th), Muharram (1st) and Rajab (7th)} are sacred.”
