National Essay Competition in Connection with Independence Day Celebration
Celebrate the freedom with words
Higher Education Commission, Ministry of Capital Administration & Development and Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training are jointly organizing Essay Writing Competition for the Students of colleges and Universities of Pakistan.
The winner of this competition at the provincial (Punjab,Sindh,Balochistan& Khyber Pakhtunkhwa) & regional (AJK,GB,FATA & ICT) level will be awarded cash prizes in ceremonious gatherings. The winner in each category at the national level will be entitled to a cash award of Rs.1, 00,000/- for the first prize, Rs75, 000/- for the second prize,and Rs.50,000/- for the third Prize. The topics for the competition are:
University Level (Bachelor to PhD)
Extremism: The Bane of Our Society
The Essay should be in English, typed or in legible hand writing of 1500-2000 words.
The space between lines should be 1.5 and the paper size should be A4.
College Level (Intermediate to Graduation)
The Role of Youth in Nation Building and Progress
The Essay should be in English, typed or in legible hand writing of 1500-2000 words.
The space between lines should be 1.5 and the paper size should be A4.
Only one entry (English or Urdu) per Candidate will be entertained.
Note:-
The University students will submit their entries through Registrar and the college Students through Principal concerned bearing a covering letter showing the details Like: name,father`s name,CNIC number,date of birth,class,roll number,phone number (official/personal for students) with latest photograph by mail. The envelope should clearly state the level(college/University) and the name of the Province/region.Last date of submission is August 20,2014 during the working hours at the addresses given below:-
