KARACHI: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has issued orders to extend working hours of banks which were open for limited working hours due to corona virus.
The SBP on Thursday sent a circular to the presidents of all the banks instructing them that the branches of all the banks would be open to the public from 9 am to 5:30 pm from Monday to Thursday.Lunch time is fixed from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm while on Friday also the banks will be open to the public from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. However, there will be a break for Friday prayers from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm.According to the State Bank of Pakistan, these new banking working hours will come into effect from July 13.

Punjab Government department Office Timing in July 2020
Punjab Government department Offices that operate five days a week will be open Monday through Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 05:00 p.m. Government of Punjab offices will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 01:00 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, offices that operate six days a week will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 03:00 p.m., while on Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 01 :00 p.m. Now, instead of eight, government departments will work for six hours.
