ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Rehman Malik has sent a notice of Rs 500 million to American blogger Cynthia Richie. The former Home Minister in his legal notice has strongly denied the allegations made by Cynthia Richie.
In the notice, Rehman Malik vehemently denied the allegations made by Cynthia Richie and said that this fight is a fight to honor Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. Additional District and Sessions Judge (ADSJ) of Islamabad has directed the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Cyber Crime Cell to respond to a petition filed by the president of the district unit of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP). Notice has been issued to the Deputy Director for June 9, 2020.
Advocate Shakeel Abbasi filed a petition under Section 22-A of the Criminal Code before ADSJ Jahangir Awan, under which the court may direct the investigating agency to register an FIR.
