Islamabad: Ramadan ul Mubarak Moon is not sighted in Pakistan and 1^st Ramzan will be on Monday 30^th June 2014.Chairman Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman will make the official announcement shortly. The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee is held a meeting for sighting the crescent of Ramazan-ul-Mubarak, 1435 A.H. on Saturday 28^th June 2014.

Saudi Arabia and Middle East has already marked the beginning of holy month on Sunday.

The announcement was made by Chairman of Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee Pakistan Mufti Munibur Rehman in a press conference held after the conclusion of an official meeting of the committee on 28^th June 2014.

The Chairman Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee said that no witnesses regarding the moon sighting were received from across the country.

The Holy month of Ramzan would now begin from Monday 30^th June 2014.

The meeting is held in the building of Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) camp office Karachi whereas the zonal/ district Ruet-e-Hilal held their meetings at their respective places on the same time and date.

The Zonal Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, ICI held its meeting in the building of Ministry of Religious Affairs, Islamabad.

The Chairman Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee hasl announced the decision of crescent not sighted.
