Punjab Assembly’s Standing Committee regularized services of lady health workers in Punjab.
LAHORE: Punjab Assembly’s Standing Committee on Tuesday regularized services of over 48,000 lady health worker in Punjab.
Lady health workers protested for regularization of their services and ended their protest over government’s assurance that a draft bill would be tabled in the Punjab Assembly to regularize their services.
Provincial health ministry will issue Formal notification in this regard within three days.
Ad-hoc nurses who were also demanding the regularization in last few days,ended their protest after an agreement with the government which ensured that their demands would be addressed.
Ad-hoc nurses will be selected as contact employees of Punjab for three year.
