BISE Dera Ismail Khan came into being in 2006. It is working in a building located on River Road , Dera Ismail Khan.

he Examination conduct section consists of two separate sections. Matric Section to deal with matric exams and Intermediate Section to deal with intermediate exams. A printing section has also been created for printing of question papers. Computer Cell deals all data management activities. The Board is governed by a Calendar based on KPK, BISE Act 1990. The act along with regulations and rules provide a complete compendium of instructions for running the Board. Within the parameters laid down by this act, the Board makes rules and regulations for its running. In addition the Controlling Authority also has the powers to provide directions to the Board to regulate any activity.
Remote access through internet is the need of the time and this facility is provided by all organizations to facilitate flow of information to get tasks done with ease and in minimum possible time. BISE D.I Khan, on road to catch up with other Examination Boards of the province and country, is launching its website on the occasion of Declaration of Result of SSC Annual Examination, 2014 as a forward step to facilitate candidates to know their result through internet.
This result is issued provisionally, errors and omission excepted, as a notice only. Any entry appearing on the website does not itself confer any right or privilege on a candidate for the grant of certificate which will be issued under the rules/regulations on the basis of the original record of the Board.
