The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved development scheme of Youth Affairs Sports Archeology and Tourism (YASAT) Sector with an estimated cost of Rs. 560.66 million.

The scheme was approved during the 47th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of the current fiscal year presided over by the Punjab Planning and Development Board Chairman Muhammad Jehanzeb Khan.
Planning and Development Provincial Secretary Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, the Planning and Development Board members, provincial secretaries concerned and the other senior representatives of the relevant provincial departments also attended the meeting.
The approved development scheme included: Chief Minister E-Rozgar Training Programme at the cost of Rs. 560.66 million.

Through the e-Rozgar Scheme, introduced by the PITB, young freelancers will be taught methods of online marketing for various local and international companies enabling them to earn according to their skills.
Government will be establishing 36 e-Rozgar Centers across province where the freelancers will be trained to acquire work opportunities through smart use of internet. The scheme is introduced on the pattern of TechHub Connect – Pakistan’s first and finest co-working space for freelancers building a community where they can share resources and grow together.
Through this program, ten thousand young individuals will be trained to earn money by working online from home using the internet.
For the eRozgar program, fifty crore rupees are allocated in the current budget. Initially, ten thousand youngsters will be trained in just six months while five thousand rupees will granted each month to them.
The training will be performed in different universities, colleges, and school labs. The training will be given in the following fields:
Email writing.
Content writing
Data entry.
Social media marketing.
Customer services.
Web designing.
PHP development.
Online business skills.
Moreover, co-working labs will be set up in 36 districts of the province. The youngsters who want to participate in the eRozgar program will be able to get registered through the online portal.
It’s a significant step by the Government of the Punjab for starting such a scheme for the young generation of Pakistan.
The program will provide the employment opportunities to the individuals. A lot of students start to doing a part-time job during their studies. Some students fail to get any job because of the lack of the skills. The eRozgar program will help such students to get some skills for the practical life.
