Dubai: Actress Veena Malik and Asad Bashir Khan Marriage in Dubai.The nikkah ceremony was held in Dubai, her International Press Relations Manager Sohail Rashid confirmed. He added that the couple rushed the nikkah as Veena’s mother is unwell.
Veena Malik is a Pakistani actress, TV host and model who appears in Lollywood and Bollywood films. Malik made her film debut in 2000 with Sajjad Gul’s Tere Pyar Mein. In 2002, she starred in Akbar Khan’s Yeh Dil Aap Ka Huwa and Sassi Punno and later played roles in female-centric films such as Koi Tujh Sa Kahan, Mohabbatan Sachiyan, Ishq Be Parwah and Kabhi Pyar Na Karna. Malik went on to win theLux Style Award for two in category of Best Actress. In 2012, she earned commercial success in bollywood withDaal Mein Kuch Kaala Hai, Mumbai 125 KM 3D and Zindagi 50-50. In 2013 she appeared in Kannada film Dirty Picture: Silk Sakkath Maga and Supermodel.
Pakistani Actress Veena Malik Got Engaged in Dubai, with a Business Man Asad Bashir Khan Khattak in Dubai Court, Veena Malik Said that Asad Bashir Khan Khattak is son of his father’s friend.
The actor had earlier said she intended to get married in 2015.
“I believe in the institution of marriage. Also, I have seen my family members enjoying a blissful married life. I too would love to belong to the man forever after getting married,” she had stated.
Malik was born in a Muslim family in Rawalpindi, Punjab, Pakistan to Mohammad Ali Malik, and his wife, Zeenat Malik. She holds a BA in Sociology, Psychology and Persian.
Veena, who was rumoured to have been engaged earlier in the year and had a very public relationship with fellow Big Boss participant Ashmit Patel, had said that she has had her share of breakups and has insecure feelings.
“I have had my share of break ups. It would not be too much to say that I have always ditched men. I am the one who has broken up with all my boy friends.”
Asked about when does the 29 year-old actor plans to settle down, she pointed out 2015 as the potential year when she ties the knot.
“I am keeping my fingers crossed and am all set to tie the knot sometime in 2015. Will it be a Sheikh or someone from Dubai? Well, I am not sure myself but yes I am contemplating to get married to a Muslim. I have been living in Dubai for many years now. So could be someone from Dubai,” she had said.
Veena had earlier said in an interview that she did not believe in dating. “I’ve never believed in the concept of dating.”
