Women Development Department, Government of Punjab invites applications from prominent women from the following fields: education, health, sports, religious harmony, agronomy, media, social activism, entrepreneurship, performing arts (music/ drama/ theater/ fashion/ others), literature (poetry/ prose), visual arts (fine arts/ sculpture/ miniature/ graphic design/ architecture/ textile/ others), law enforcing agencies, science and technology (including IT/environment) and non-conventional professions for consideration for Fatima Jinnah Awards 2016.
Nomination Criteria for FJA 2016
At least 10 years (or more) experience in relevant field.
Young achievers (aged 15-29) will also be considered in the above-mentioned fields
Awardees of national or international governmental awards are NOT eligible to apply.
To apply for nomination of Fatima Jinnah Awards 2016 candidates are required to have following documents. Documents described below are essential for the application that’s why it is strongly recommended that candidate must complete their documentation. These documents are required to be submitted on the time of submission of application forms. Below we have listed required documents.
Candidates willing to apply for the nomination of the Fatima Jinnah Awards 2016 are required to be eligible according to the criteria given by the officials. Officials have given a common criterion for the women of all the fields. It is recommended that only eligible candidates apply for these nominations. Ineligible candidates will not be considered. Below are the criteria for Fatima Jinnah Awards 2016.
Candidates are required to have at least 10 years of experience in relevant field. Young achievers aged between 15 and 20 in the prescribed fields are also eligible for FJA 2016.
Candidates who have already received any award from national or international government are not eligible to apply for FJA 2016.
Personal statement/ cover letter (hand written) is required from applicant. Applicants are requiring highlighting her achievements and why she thinks she deserve this award.
Testimonials/ recommendations from at least 2 experts from relevant field is also required.
Candidates are also required to submit latest CV/ resume.
Copy of CNIC.
Passport sized Photograhs.
