Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) hold protest rally against inflation in Lahore
LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has said that his party’s tsunami will not be affected by cold weather and dense fog.
Speaking to media persons on Saturday, Khan said PTI will not only stage a rally against price hike, it will also present a formula to deal with high inflation.
He claimed that large numbers of people would attend the PTI’s rally in Lahore tomorrow on Sunday 22nd December 2013.
Khan said that government was being run with IMF’s loans.
To a question, he said that prices of essential items in Pakistan are very high compared with regional countries.

Soon after Information Minister Pervez Rahid’s criticism, Railway Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique targeted Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf’s decision to hold protest rally against inflation.
Addressing a press conference in Lahore, Saad Rafique labelled PTI’s demonstration as dharna film, terming Sheikh Rasheed as director while Imran Khan as villain of this film.
PML-N leader said PTI chief had not launched any development projects in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa except for administering polio drops to children.
Terming Imran Khan’s steps as childish, Saad Rafique said PTI chief’s decisions were becoming a threat for democratic system.
Meanwhile, Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah said those holding rallies in Lahore should focus on issues of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Despite all criticism, Imran Khan has vowed to hold rally in Nasir Bagh of Lahore on 22nd December 2013 .
He also said that Punjab government would be responsible if police takes any action against the peaceful rally held by PTI.

Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmad said he knew PML-N very well and could expose its leaders any time. Addressing a press conference on Friday, Sheikh Rashid said that the demand of mid-term elections was a constitutional way to stop martial law.
He said Awami Muslim League would fully participate in anti-price hike rally organised by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Lahore on December 22.
