Abdul Sattar Edhi served humans, humanity and Pakistan all his life and his welfare and charity services will never be forgotten. Abdul Sattar Edhi was a asset of Pakistan as he served the people of the country irrespective of class, creed, color, sect or religion.

Abdul Sattar Edhi funeral prayers will be offered after Zuhr Saturday 9th July 2016. “His funeral prayers will be offered at the Memon Masjid in Bolton Market, Karachi after Zuhr prayers on Saturday,” announced his son Faisal Edhi. And he will be buried at the Edhi village centre.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has announced one day of mourning, a state funeral and highest civil award the Nishan-e-Imtiaz in honor of Eidhi Sahab.
Abdul sattar edhi biography :
Abdul sattar Edhi was born in 1928 in a village called Bantva inside what is now India’s Gujarat state.He received the Ramon Magsaysay Award for public service in 1986. The Edhi Foundation operates ambulance services, orphanages, women’s shelters, dispensaries and morgues in several Pakistani cities.
Edhi was renowned world over for his social work. He was nominated several times for the Nobel Peace Prize as well.Abdul Sattar Edhi was a prominent Pakistani philanthropist, social activist, ascetic, and humanitarian. He was the founder and head of the Edhi Foundation in Pakistan and ran the organization for the better part of six decades.
