Prime Minister Green Line bus project in Karachi
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has inaugurated the Green Line bus project in Karachi on 26th February 2016.The project will cost Rs 16 billion which will be completed in a year.
Prime Minister of the Green Line Rapid Bus Service has kept the foundation in Karachi, which will be completed in a year when the project will cost Rs 16 billion to 17 km long.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has lay foundation stone for the Green Line Rapid Bus Service in Karachi, the project cost is 17 kilometers, while the Green Line bus project will be completed in a year Rs 16 billion. The spokesman said that the Green Line rapid transit system is funded federal government for the country’s first rapid transit system.
Green Bus Line Project Karachi Municipal Park MA Jinnah Road will end when the project is 3 million passengers a day will be able to travel. First ever Rapid Transit system of the country to be initiated by the federal government.
The Green Line Bus Rapid Transit System is a significant milestone in upgrading and decongestant the overburdened transport infrastructure of Karachi as well as reducing the cost and travel time for the residents of Karachi.
The Rapid Transit system would start from Surjani Town and culminate at Municipal Park M.A Jinnah Road. The estimated cost of the corridor is Rs 16,085 million and entire funding had been provided by the federal government.
