Following Posts of professionals are currently vacant in Punjab Police department (Based in Lahore).The selected Candidates against these positions will work in DPR Branch of Central Police Office,Punjab Lahore.These posts are purely on contract basis for a period of three (03) years which is extendable. The detail of No.of Posts,educational qualification /experience ,age limit and pay packages for these posts is as under.
Punjab Police Department (Media Related Posts)jobs 2016:
Media Relational Manager.
- Establishing a relation with media.
- Day to day follow up of the handouts and press releases.
- Co-ordination with media for press conferences.
2 Online Media Officer
- Responsible to manage the social media
- To manage the tweets, facebook and public reaction about the police department.
- Social Media image building of the
department.
3 Monitoring Analyst
- Responsible to evaluate and monitor the
content published or aired by T.V channels on daily basis.
- Preparation of report based on monitoring analysis.
- Responsible to inform in time about any kind of negative propaganda against the department.
4 P.R Content Writer English.
- Responsible to draft the handouts, press releases of the department.
- Also draft the speeches and massages of the competent authority for various newspapers, channels and magazines.
- Assist the DPR in developing the media campaign for print and electronic media.
5 P.R Content Writer Urdu.
- Responsible to draft the handouts, press releases of the department.
- Also draft the speeches and massages of the competent authority for various newspapers, channels and magazines.
- Assist the DPR in developing the media campaign for print and electronic media.
6 NLE Editor
- To edit the footages received from the field.
- Preparation of news footages captured during activities.
- Responsible to upload and download the outgoing and incoming footages.
- Co-ordinate with media after uploading the official videos.
TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR VARIOUS POSTS FOR DPR BRANCH, CPO PUNJAB
Following are the terms & conditions for appointment of contractual employees for following posts, in DPR Branch of
Central Police, Office Punjab:-

- i) Media Relationing Manager Rs.80000/-
- ii) Monitoring Analyst Rs.80000/-
iii) P.R Content Writer (English) Rs.60000/-
- iv) P.R Content Writer (Urdu) Rs.60000/-
- v) Social Media Content Writer Rs.60000/-
- vi) NLE Editor Rs.40000/-
- PAY & ALLOWANCES
The contractual appointee1 shall get a lump-sum pay as mentioned above inclusive of adhoc/risk allowance etc. as per notification U.O. No.Pol-9-X (Home)/2013(SNE)(P).
- MEDICAL FITNESS CERTIFICATE
The appointment shall be subject to the provision of medical fitness certificate issued by the competent medical authority / board, declaring the candidate medically fit.
iii. TENURE
Three years contract from the date of appointment (extendable).
- PENSION / GRATUITY
The contractual appointee shall not be authorized to any pension / gratuity and the appointment shall be nonpensionable.
- CONTRIBUTION TO FUNDS
The contractual appointee or their families shall not be entitled to the benefit of Benevolent Fund, G.P. Fund and Group Insurance.
- LEAVE
(a) Casual leave not exceeding 24 days per year shall be admissible. More than 10 days leave at one time shall not be allowed.
(b) Ninety (90) days maternity leave with pay (in case of female contractual appointee only), one in the tenure of three years2
shall be admissible.
(c) Leave on medical grounds without pay shall be admissible on production of medical certificate by the competent authority as per Punjab Medical Attendance Rules, 1959. However, if medical leave continues beyond 3 months, his contract shall be liable to be terminated.
vii. MEDICAL FACILITIES
The contractual appointee shall be entitled to medical facilities as admissible to officer of Punjab Police.

viii. T.A. / D.A. As admissible under the Rules of the Provincial Government.
- TRANSFER / POSTING
The appointment shall be post specific and non-transferable. The contractual appointee shall not, under any circumstances, claim any right for transfer from one post to another. However, in any situation they shall be bound to move across Punjab in term of their job responsibility.
- NO RIGHT OF REGULAR APPOINTMENT
The contractual appointee shall not claim any right of regular appointment nor shall such appointment be regularized under any circumstances.
- TRAINING
The contractual appointee shall have to undergo essential training programme, as may be prescribed from time to time during the contractual assignment.
xii. PERFORMANCE EVALUATION
The contractual appointee performance shall be assessed / evaluated on regular basis keeping in view his
efficiency and conduct as per provision of contract appointment policy.
xiii. APPOINTMENT ON THE BASIS OF FORGED / BOGUS DOCUMENTS
If at any stage, it is discovered that the contractual appointee had obtained the appointment on the basis of forged / bogus documents or through deceit by any means, the appointment shall be considered cancelled ab-inito and the candidate shall be liable to refund all amounts / benefits received from Government as a consequent of appointment in addition to any other action as may be taken under the law.
xiv. RECOVERY OF LOSS CAUSED TO THE GOVERNMENT
Recovery of any pecuniary loss caused to the employer shall be affected from him or her.
- PERFORMANCE OF DUTIES
The contractual appointee shall be liable to perform duties, in public duties, as may be entrusted to him by competent authority from time to time.
xvi. INTERPRETATION OF THE TERMS & CONDITIONS
The interpretation of the terms and conditions and the decision of the competent authority in this behalf shall be final.
xvii. TERMINATION OF CONTRACT
Contract appointment shall be liable to termination on one-month’s notice or on payment of one-month pay in lieu thereof, on either side, without assigning any reason.
xviii. HOUSE RENT ALLOWANCE / RESIDENTIAL ACCOMODATION
The contractual appointee shall not be entitled to house rent as per Provincial Government Rules.
xix. JOINING TIME
As admissible under the Rules of the Provincial Government.
- CONDUCT AND DISCIPLINE
The contractual appointee shall not participate in any activity prejudicial to government policies on ethnic, sectarian sect or tribal basis. Further, contractual employees shall not be allowed to have any political, sectarian, ethnic etc., affiliation, prejudicial to the interest of Government as per rules / policies. In case any breach of the conditions he/she shall be subjected to prescribed Rules of Provincial Government.
The contractual employees for the said posts shall be subjected to the following conditions:-
- a) Government of the Punjab reserves the rights to amend / modify any of the aforementioned terms and conditions.
- b) Appointment shall be subject to their character and credential verification from local police and concerned agencies.
