residential election Will be held on 6th August 2013ISLAMABAD: The Chief Election Commissioner (CEC), Fakhruddin G Ibrahim, has approved the presidential election 2013 schedule, fixing 6th August as date of polling by Election Commission of Pakistan.
According to the schedule, the nomination papers for the presidential election would be submitted till 24th July 2013 while the scrutiny process would take place on 26th July 2013.
The nomination papers could be withdrawn on July 29. The election would be held on 6th August while results would be announced on 7th August 2013.
