Nasir Jamshed will play as replacement for Muhammad Hafeez in world Cup 2015
Nasir Jamshed is selected as replacement for Muhammad Hafeez in Pakistan’s squad for World Cup 2015 which is starting from 13th February 2015.
Hafeez is full of a calf injury that he picked up whereas batting within the second ODI against Newisland in Napier on 3rd February 2015.
Jamshed is 25-year-old left-handed opener and he has competed forty five ODIs for Pakistan during which he has scored one, 413 runs with 3 centuries and eight half-centuries. His last ODI was against Newisland in Abu Dhabi.
Any injury or unhealthiness-based replacement needs a written submission from a health care provider on the extent of the injury or illness.
Once replaced, a player might not come to the squad save as AN approved later replacement for one more wounded or sick player.
Pakistan is in Pool B together with defensive champions of India, former winner the the Indies, African rivals South Africa and African country and qualifiers eire and United Arab Emirates (UAE). Pakistan will play its gap match against India at the state capital Oval on 15th February 2015.
